Pixie had Lp surgery just as you describe with the repositioning and pins and she was on crate rest for 6 weeks. I used a small animal ex pen to keep her where ever we were in the house. I also had a play yard that I set up and she was in there a lot. I even put the small expen on my bed so she could be where she was use to hanging out. At night she went back into her play yard. After a week, the surgeon said she could have her sister Rpxie with her so that helped alot. I hope the recovery goes well. I did have a hard time keeping her completely off it but she healed fine. |
