I only have one furbaby, so bath time is quite simple for us. I don't trim her nails on the same day. I usually ony do those as needed when she is laying around with me relaxed. She goes to the groomer as well, so the groomer keeps them trimmed and filed.
Be sure to gather all of your supplies before starting the bath. I use and recommend Yorkie Splash & Shine Shampoo and Conditioner. It smells wonderful & leaves Lulu's coat soft & shiny. Our whole bath routine takes about 40 mins from start to finish. I brush her out before the bath & after as well.
