Last year I was able to register online, a parti colored pup after another friend told me that AKC had "parti" listed as an online color option and that he had just registered a parti pup online.
It turns out that the parti color name only shows up as color option, when AKC is registering parti colored pups themselves!
I had seen the parti color name before on the AKC website but I checked a few days ago and it was gone. I also just checked through the link that was posted by kpstoybox and parti is no longer listed.
So if you see the parti listing as a color option, it means that AKC is registering parti colored yorkies into their system and you can get on and register your own parti colored dogs without submitting photos. This was verified by my breeder friend who had talked to AKC about why the parti color option is not always listed as a color choice on their website. |
