Have you looked into DAP...I use feliway for my cat who gets stressed and starts peeing and meowing when he's left alone. It has actually calmed both of them down though. I think they make some specifically for dogs though, and you can get a plug in one and put it next to her crate or expen to help calm her when she's left alone. It works for some, but not everyone.
