Maybe he hit a nerve, the medicine burned a lot or the vet tech had to really hold the dog down for the vet or tech to be able to administer the shot, causing her to wail out the whole time. That is one thing a lot of dogs scream over is absolute and unremitting restraint. I think it may panic many of them and they let go with the high "C" notes. Sick like she was, she probably didn't take to restraint and needling and burning medicine or even one of those things. All those worms, she probably felt pretty bad and having diarrhea, too - was probably just one more thing too much having them do that to her. I sure hope she gets better quickly and feels her old self again, soon. Maybe this new vet will be better.
