My poor father was way worse than me. All you had to do was say the word "hair" around him if food was on the table and he would gag some!!! My brother and I made his life miserable at times teasing him now that I think back about it! He would gag and gag and throw up if he ever ever found a hair in his food and our whole family has had to troop out of a restaurant if he ever found one and he would be soooo sick outside. Poor guy! I'm not that bad and I don't gag if I see one - I just call the waiter or manager. Can't help it but I cannot eat a bite of food for hours and hours after I see a hair in food. Wish it were different but it isn't. I've managed to use it to my advantage as weight control as I do not take in calories of any kind for a long time after seeing a hair in or near food! There are some advantages to being weird! Ha!
