That is one reason I don't want pets in a restaurant - all the hair some of them seem to leave in the air every where they walk. I am made very sick by hair in food. Restaurant owners know many folks cannot stand even the idea a hair might be curled up on top of the sizzling hot steak - ugh! That is one of the reasons I had to get a none-shedding dog. I can't imagine what it would be like to try to eat an expensive meal sitting one table over from some of the shedders I have seen out with their owners whose clothing is so hairy! I'd have to get up and leave with my ultra weak stomach - and I would not pay for that meal. I really love my Tibbe to death but I find other ways to enrich his life and mine other than taking him to restaurants. The worst of it is, I think he would be miserable in a closed up carrier smelling all that good food, salivating like crazy as he listens to us cutting and chewing food. My little dog would hate it. And knowing Tibbe, he would growl at some of the sounds he'd hear that he didn't approve of!
