I live in a country town in Texas so my baby goes everywhere with me in his carrier. In my town all the stores, banks, resturants know Gizmo, and he is welcomed in these places because he is so well behaved in his carrier that no-one would know he is there. He is allowed to have his head out in all the places I go in town except Dennys and Brookshires Grocery, for those places he is zipped inside, while I run in and run out. But shopping at the dollar stores or going to the bank, if they see me they expect to see him and is received with warm welcomes. He is never left in the car, he even goes to walmart with me because again he is trained to his bag and will sit quietly inside and no-one ever sees him. The only time he is left at home is when I go to school two days a week, during that time he gets to stay home and have the run of the house with hubby keeping an eye out. For the most part I would say that 90% of the time that I leave my house...Gizmo is with me as I am older and home everyday so my routine is pretty much the same and I usually stay in my little town where my baby is well known.
