However long it took us to get an expen was the amount of time Hot Rod spent in a crate. He still sleep in his crate but at least I knew that he could get out and get some food and water and potty if he needed to--especially if I was late in getting home from work.
Someone suggested putting an inexpensive shower curtain liner under everything in case there was an accident where he would missed the pad.
