Does anyone have any experience in dealing with liver shunts? I talk with my vet tomorrow about this. Ziva is 9 months old, weighing in at 3lbs. She was spayed and had her deciduous teeth removed April 19. The next day she was listless and not eating so I took her back to the vet and found out she had a glucose level of 30 within a few hours she was up to 150. A week later she didnt seem right so I took her back in with a glucose level of 59 (low normal) The vet did additional blood work to test for liver function. I am so worried. What I am reading about shunts is very scary.
