Yes, definitely give her a call, candle wax consistency is not right. You could for now, go ahead and try it, just mix it with a little water in a bowl, to soften it up....I think you'll get the same results. But, definitely you should get the product replaced. This is the first I've heard of this happening, but I'm sure as with any product mailed, sometimes weird things happen.
