I have a very picky eater too and after trying
numerous differnt brands - dry, canned, adding cooked meat, cheese, etc. (she didn't want ANY of it) Alice finally ate with gusto when I gave her raw. I know it's not for everyone, (I'm not too thirlled about dealing with it either
) but it is their natural diet, keeps them even more healthy than the best kibble and Alice very quickly confirmed that for me lol.
If you want to start easy, see if you can find frozen Nature's Variety, Primal or Stella & Chewy's at a local petstore (petco and petsmart won't have any of it though). I was just on a thread too where a few people have their dogs on Honest Kitchen (dehydrated raw meat, veggies and some fruit that you add water to) so I ordered that too.
I've been changing their meals each time - nature's variety raw, then kibble/canned, then raw chicken with some bone in, then canned with some freeze dried liver mixed in etc. She's excited for every single meal
