I saw a hawk flying over my house two times just last week. I am not sure if it is two different hawks or the same one. My sister in law just told me that her friends yorkie was attacked by a hawk a few weeks ago. I am constantly on the lookout for hawks every time I let Louis out. You can put poles up on sides of the yard and attach fishing line cris- crossed on them through out the yard making an invisible roof.
That is what my Aunt did. They have eagles on their ridge and she is so scared her pom will get taken off.
She didn't do the whole yard, just the little play area out back where the pom stays when she is outside.
