She has already offered to pay the vet bills. The police did not show up, honestly we did not even call them at the time, I was to concerned in getting Pixie to the vet. I have just called them to report this, I know she apologized and said she is paying the vet bills, however I would like to see her get a nice big fine for being so stupid. She could have done much worse, what if it was a child, she could have killed it. She could have very easily killed my Pixie and myself. My biggest pet peeve is people who talk on the phone or text while driving, I hate that about as much as I hate drunk drivers and both are equally as dangerous.
