I had a dog growing up that had epilepsy and she lived a full life with it. No problems once on the meds.

What did the vet say about how to handle him during a seizure?
Forgot to add there is always a risk of being bitten by a dog during a seizure, but there is also a greater risk of permanent brain damage if a seizure continues for too long.
