When I get my yorkie, I am not saying I will purposely seclude it from kids. But, I very rarely have any kids over here. I don't have any kids of my own and I don't have any neices or nephews either. I am usually the one going to my little cousin's house and they very rarely come over. When I had my yorkie Lacey, she was not used to kids at all that is why she did not like them. I was 15 and my brother was 13 when we got her. So, we were not little kids, we were teenagers. I did baby-sit occasionally for my friends kids when we had her. But, the kids would always try to play with her and she got scared and she would hide behind the couch and not come out. I was once holding Lacey in my lap and I was baby-sitting my friend's little girl who was 2 at the time. She reached over to pet her and she snapped at her. Lacey very rarely snapped at adults. So, I fussed her for it. I guess she was scared that she was going to hurt her.
