Definitely quit worrying about it. We live next door to a neighbor who has severe OCD (so severe he comes out every night at 7:30 p.m. and knocks on all four corners of every window of all his vehicles - I have no idea why) and he is obsessed with his yard as well.

I do not bag as I mow. I use the mulching mower and if leaves get in his yard, too bad. Since he seems to love yard work he can deal with it (and he does.) I like a well manicured lawn but am not obsessed with it. I weedeat every time I mow and if I get clippings on the sidewalk I do blow them in a pile and sweep them up. I've even seen our neighbor go out about an hour after he's done his lawn and blow 3-4 leaves out into the street. He is absolutely the most severe case of OCD I have ever seen.

Do it your way and the heck with the neighbors. It's your yard and you have no control over mother nature and how hard the wind blows.
