Well, one thing I did right was invest in an organic lawn service ~ so I have NO weeds at all. There are yards in our so-called HOA neighborhood that are nothing BUT dandelions.

I think I'll invest in a leaf blower to keep the grass of the sidewalks, etc. And I took the blower off the mower so when Matt mows the TINY STRIP outside our fence and next to their yard - none of our grass clippings will get in their yard. THEY are the ones who told me to put the blower on last year.

Sheesh. I think Matt and I are just getting the hang of it. But I'm working all the time and he's in school or at practice every day - so time has been an issue.

And the battery operated weedeater - may have to go for a better one. We'll see.

I want my yard to look decent - but I'm definitely a flower garden kind of person and NOT every blade of grass has to be perfect kind of person.

Thanks for your tips and I'm going to quit worrying about it.
