He'll be fine  , I always suggest bloodwork before any anestesia first though. Nueters really don't take very long so it's not a major surgery, the anesthesia is the biggest part, but if bloodwork comes back normal and the vet is used to administering it to tiny dogs, he should do fine. |
agreed. Your vet may not be very experienced with small breeds and that is why they are worried, look for someone with experience.
