Personally, I would work harder on getting her pee pad trained- I know I have one dog who would not be able to hold it all night- I have her pad trained, so she knows to get up and go to the bathroom and come back to bed. I never even notice her leave, so she doesn't wake me. The only way to stop her from going would probably be to withhold water after a certain point at night, but that is something I am not comfortable with at all.
