Glad to hear little ones are home! They look like such precious girls in the pics! I would also keep watching the color of her gums and tongue when you think she is breathing heavy. It is good the way you are so observant.

In human medicine, it takes someone a while to fully recover from a life-threatening event. I would imagine the same is so to some extent with dogs - but I would still keep watching them closely for a while.
