If you gave her skinless baked or boiled chicken, it should not have caused the problem. I asked the doctor about this when my dog got sick. She said the chicken wouldn't have caused it, and I may have not done anything wrong at all. Some dogs......yorkies in particular are just prone to developing it. Now it just has to be managed. She put him on prescription food and gave me pain medicine to keep on hand in case of a flare up in the middle of the night or when we are traveling. Hang in there!
