I think either the 5/8" or the 7/8" would work fine - it really depends on what type of look you want. Do you prefer a larger bow? Also how does your Shih Tzu feel about wearing bows? You may consider a 5/8" bow if the size/weight of a smaller bow would be more tolerable.
