I was a little disappointed in her initial greeting with us. My in-law likes to have the 'tough guy' persona, but he petted her rotten. She ate more table food than she should have because "she wouldn't eat her dog food". When she saw us, she greeted us and then whined at the bottom of my in-law's recliner wanting to be back in his lap. But I'm glad they bonded. My in-law is retired and farms, so he had so much time to spend with her.
