Hello everyone. My girlfriend and I rescued a wonderful Yorkie from ARF in the bay area. He is 9 years old, and has been just wonderful. There are a few things I am wondering about. He is very sweet but can be territorial. He loves to cuddle, but sometimes if you move too much or try and pet him he growls. If you continue to do it he gets progressively more grumpy. It's hard because you can't pick him up and move him off the couch because he will bite. It's very common that he will lay on my lap but won't want to move, we can't get him to move on his own but if we pick him up he snaps. Is there anything we can go? He seems to get moody which I know is terrier style, but sometimes he seems like he's just reached the end of his rope for the day and gets very irritable. I want to see if this is normal, and if not what we can do for him so we don't put him in those situations. I will post pics when I get home.

Thanks!
