Hi,
My 9 year old Hugo has pancreatitis. the main key is to avoid foods high in protein. Hill prescription ID dry and canned food is good for this. You can only get it with a prescription with your vet. My vet carries it and I feed it to Hugo alot. He realy seems to love it. I really have to be careful what I feed him, NO TABLE SCRAPS! I do however, feed him boiled chicken with plain rice a couple times a week so that he doesnt get tired of the same old food. He also eats dry food from Flint fiver Ranch foods, which he loves. Its baked and doesnt have a high protein count. They also sell dog treats. Hugo has been hospitalized twice because of dehydration from this disease. Luckily he has not had an episode in over a year and I hope it stays that way
