Abby, my 1 year old Yorkie just got diagnosed with a histiocytoma right next to her nose...scared me to death when I saw it, but was assured by my vet that watchful waiting is what needs to be done and that it is benign...If it gets bigger within the next month or if it seems to be bothering her, it can be removed, but even then I will keep an eye on it a few more weeks probably, so as to avoid anesthesia if at all possible.
