This is the part that breaks my heart the most and people don't think these animals feel anything:

Friend knows that the little ones can't be saved. Tinkerbell's normal weight is 6 1/2 lbs. Last time, she got down to under 5 lbs from grieving so much. Friend said that she went from room to room crying and looking for her babies. When the other dog had her puppy, Tinkerbell tried to steal her. Really sad. I told her that she may want to have a couple of small stuffed animals so she wouldn't grieve too bad. Don't know if it was good advice or not.

Take care my friend.
You are so right...these "dogs" grieve just the same as we do. They may not grieve as long but they know...and that's what is so heartbreaking! My friend was crying because she wants to keep at least one puppy. It's very sad.
