Soooooo I didn't mention that the groomer nicked one of my baby's ears because I didn't think it was a huge deal.
However, last night I discovered there was stuff OOZING out of her ear!
I took her to the vet immediately today and they said she has an ear infection in one ear and bacteria in both.
They said it was most likely caused by the nick and water not being cleaned out of her ears.
I KNOW that issue wasn't there before she went to the groomers. I inspect her every day myself AND she just got the all clear from the vet last week. We were treating a skin issue on her nose with antibiotics prior to this and had a follow up visit. Boy were they surprised to see us again!
I am steaming mad.
On another note, I am very happy we have insurance to help cover this. We will be filing our first claims soon.
