I agree, I think having a good phone relationship with your vet is vital. They can give you tips on what to feed, such as adding a little pumpkin to the diet to help pass the foreign object. Also, they can tell you what are the danger symptoms to look for, and tell you the closest emergency room should your dog become sick over the weekend. I would put all poops in a little plastic bag, and squish the poop until I found the eye, it will probably take at least 24 hours, but could take as long as 4 days. You'll feel lots better once you find the eye, but call your vet, just to be safe.
