I know exactly how you feel! I did a terrible job on my shih tzu Ollie earlier this week. He's never had a short coat, I used to have his groomer keep his hair about 3-4 inches long. But my groomer left and I decided since the weather was getting warmer I'd use the clippers on him.... BIG MISTAKE!!!! His coat is so thick that no matter what I tried it wasn't even. I was embarressed to take him for a walk..... but he really doesnt care what he looks like. And its only hair, it will grow back. And I promised him that I will never make him look silly again
I will NEVER use clippers on Belle. Thankfully she has a thin silky coat so I can handle just a little ear and sani-trim. Live and learn, I guess
