Don't feel bad about your post! You did not insult me at all, and I did not mean to make light of your concerns either. I only meant to point out the differences that energy levels can make in getting a second Yorkie. I am very glad that your 10 Y.O. was still able to play well with Rylee.
When we got our second Yorkie, Mr Pippin was already 13. Daisy made him act like a pup again for a short time before he got sick. So I guess he did not mind it so much, but he did try and show his dominance over Ms. Daisy, and she was far too fast for him

Now the age difference in our Yorksters is 2 years, and they play together very well. Although its hard to think about, when they get towards the end of life, and one finally passes away, I don't know if I could wait to get a new pup or not... Logically, I think that is the right thing to do.
