I have always been told and have read...That a puppy should be on puppy food for the first year...than switch to adult food at a year old.
And a puppy doesn't stop growing until they are a year to 18 mos old. They may not grow much height wise after a year...but they start filling out body wise...this is what I have seen with my yorkies over the past 15 years that I have owned one.
I have a 7 1/2 mos old pup and he is nowhere near full grown. |
