 Basil's splint is off...he is great
The splint is off, and the X-Ray showed that the leg has healed perfectly. The surgeon said to take it easy with him for a month as far as running and jumping. So, he will either be in his X-Pen or on a leash when walking in the house. After 4 weeks, he can go crazy.
When we got home, we took him outside on the lease. There is a slight limp and the vet said it will last 1-2 weeks.....it was hardly noticeable, and when he was in the splint, the splint was a tad longer than his other leg.
We are very releived and glad he is ok and will be as good as new. Thank you for all of the kind words over the paswt month. You guys are the best. |
