I would just like to thank God for YT & thank God it's Friday!
This week has been anything but pleasant, had to take my 13y.o. DD to doc for severe migraines, we had a huge funeral for an innocently fallen ploice officer, this stupid pc has been screwing up, we've had this nationwide terrible weather, including two freak things here: 7 people, coach/es & middle schoolers got struck by lightning before they could even get off the field when the storm rolled in.
Then another lady was driving a mini-van with her two teens & a tree fell on it killing her & one of her children, hospitalizing the other.
And I had to make the final decision to divorce after being separated & attempting to make things work. Not easy after almost 11 years.
But.....all drama aside, I am so glad to have YT. It's nice to be able to listen & talk & laugh & learn. I've really made some great friends here. It's nice to be part of a community (online or otherwise) that is so compassionate & caring & smart & funny.....the only thing really wrong with this entire site is some people just don't honor their banned status.
But, hey, it gives me something to do....
And also glad it's Friday because my hot hockey men
are starting round 3 of the playoffs...they have not done such since 2006-07, so i am geeked.
(i'd be geeked if they just did it yesterday, but that's not the point).
So thanks everyone, for your kind posts, pm's, visitor messages, etc. it's nice & just reading a few kind words or something funny or cute really does lighten the load and make the day go a lot smoother.
