Wow! That is extremely young!
He should still be nursing at that age. Does the vet have him on a goat's milk/water mix, along with food?
I got my ZoE at 6 weeks old and her teeth were barely through and she hardly ate. My Vet had me get Royal Canin Mini Babydog kibble and feed her every 3/4 hours. ZoE loved it and ate it with no difficulty. Thankfully, she had a healthy appetite and ate & drank well.
Your Vet is your best resource with a puppy that young.
