Default When did your pup get the run of the house?

I was wondering at what age you let your yorkie have the run of the house? Was it just based on potty training? Teething? Or just age?

ZoE is 20 weeks old TODAY!!! I've been working on finishing the basement in a lil house I bought last year. (It had to be completely gutted due to leaking water. I had new draintile installed & it's now bone-dry, so decided to finish it for when my kids are home from college.) I've had ZoE down there with me in an playpen "supervising" for the weeks I was framing the walls & running the electrical. Yesterday & today I was installing insulation, so didn't want her down there inhaling the stuff, so I just left her running around loose upstairs. She was fine. I'm wondering if I should let this be a permanent thing from here on out during times I'm gone from home and can't take her with me.

ZoE is completely potty-trained and even though she is seriously teething right now, she only ever chews on her chew toys, not my furniture.

Thoughts???
