Hello I am a newbie to owning a yorkie but I have had small baby's before so I know a little but on this little one I am stumped ... Now don't hollor at me as I really really really didn't know she was just a 5 week old puppy but she is.... breeder I got her from said she was 6weeks anyway she went to the vet this morning and the reason she is with me is because her momma stoped feeding her puppies they all have there teeth and where eating really good at least that is what I was told ... so I talked with a friend last night who suggested I give her goats milk mixed with water in her food and plain and all was looking good until I came home from the vet about 3 pm I was getting concerned because she hadn't eaten anything since 5 am that morning so I went out and got her some can food which she ate and was smaking her lips but she still hasn't drank any water I have put my finger in the bowl and I have gave her three dropers full of water but the vet said not to worry becasue she was getting water from the milk and from her food but I'm still worried ... has any of you ever delt with this before and what can I do to help her .. she isn't sick she plays just like nothing is wrong but it just can't be to healthy with her not drinking water ... Or am I wrong will she start to drink on her own should I keep giving her dropers of water if so how often or should I find another vet ... Sherrie
