You really never know how it is going to work out since it is so dependent on how the individual personalities mesh together. I added a second puppy when my older one was just about to turn two. It took a few weeks for him to get used to sharing me but now they are the best of friends- they play together, sleep together, love each other constantly. I love that they have each other when I am gone during the day.
