My Gizmo, has slept with hubby and I from day one, he is now 4-1/2 and 10 lbs. He has his own pillow which sits in between the hubby and I because at bedtime we usually watch TV, for a bit and play tug or war with him. Then when its time to go to sleep he gets off the pillow and lays in between his pillow and me, kind of curls up in the groove of my body at my belly like we are spooning....lol. Our bed is to high for him to get down from so if he has to go potty in the middle of the night, he will stand in my chest and make this whining noise, I then just put him down, where he goes in my private restroom and potties on the pad, then comes and stand at the side of the bed and barks to be picked up and placed back on the bed. He had 2 -3 accidents when he was weeks old, but got the message really quick that that was a no no.
