CONGRATS on 5 pups! I'm guessing you have no postal scale to weigh the puppies since you estimated size by comparing to a mouse. If they are really that small and you are inexperienced, I would call the vet now and ask for their advice. I would want them seen as soon as the vet believes it is safe to transport them. I think you could do that right away but he might want them to be 24 hours old before being moved. They go in on Day 3 for tail docking and dew claw removal so if they are otherwise completely healthy, that would be the day you'd take them in.
It is actually important, especially if these are undersized pups, that you weigh them each day to make sure all are thriving. Do they all seem to be latching on fine and eating well? Can you see their little bellies getting rounded after nursing?
