White spots aren't unusual in yorkies. Lots of puppies are born with white toes and a white patch on the chest. Usually these areas gold out...and some do not.
To the people pondering if they own a parti. Look inside their mouths...it will be pink with black spots. If it's mottled...the dog do not carry the gene.
