I use CCleaner twice a day plus my Disk Check once a week, restart a few times a during the day. I have an old notebook that used to just crawl when I started on YT and would take forever to load but found a lot of tools to help. Also, cleaned off my desktop to only 5 items and only a few bookmarks. I have no idea of that last stuff helped but wanted to get "lean and mean" and with doing all that, it worked like a charm. First thing I did was get Microsoft to correct my Updates problem and redo the registry so I could get Updates really fast. It is free support if you have IE so that was a big help. Good luck!
