Saturday morning, I got a call from a lady that owns a pet store. She had gotten up that morn to find her mom canary dead and there were two little ones that were becoming quite weak. She was wondering if my canary would tend to them, so I went up and got the babies. I fed them right away because they were growing weaker by the minute. Got them going on food and a little stronger and then put the nest in my canary cage. That didn't work, so I have been hand feeding them ever since. They were 1 week old when I got them...naked of any feathers and looked like little space aliens. Now they are beginning to get feathers and I'm sure, in another week, they will be fully feathered. I'm in love with these little darlings. Their eyes opened the second day I had them so now they think I'm mom! LOL I feed them every hour to hour and a half, except at night. I've got some pictures and will post more here as I get them. I feel pretty confident that I will get these little ones to adulthood!
