I thought it was great. I am curious about how they will compete once the celebs have their team.
I understand the concept of judging them just by their voices, but I still think looks and connection with the audience plays a big part in their success. I wondered what Christina thought when she turned around and saw Frenchie Davis. I think weight has held back Frenchie's career. Looking back over the past 40 years there have been very few women who are that large and were successful.
When Cass Elliot (Mama's and Papa's) and Aretha Franklin were stars there wasn't as much tv exposure for singers. People bought records but didn't watch video's of the songs. |
