I would definitely try and keep her from licking her incision site. I do have soft cone collars available if you are interested. Or you could try a onesize. You would put it on backwards so her tail would stick out the snaps.
lol, the problem I had with Maggie after her spay (I hadn't come up with the Kiss-E collar yet) was that she got to the pad to pee before I could take the onesize off. She peed right thru it! lol |
