It wasn't easy..took a lot of consistency. A lot of taking her outside...probably about every 1 1/2 to two hours. And I made sure to tell her to ring her bells while batting her paw with them..eventually she just got it. Also you have to make sure they strictly go potty when you tell them to ring the bells. Otherwise they'll think they can ring the bells to go out and play.
She rings the bells with her nose.
** I also did not give her freedom to walk around on the carpet until she went potty outside. And even then it was supervised.
