It does sound like her calcium level is very low and she might need a IV with calcium.. There is also a great calcium supplement that I ALWAYS keep on hand for my mothers and it is called CALSORB.. It is a very fast acting calcium and has helped me out of many tight situations! I believe that you can order it from Revival and Lambier (spelling)..

Melanie, I have Calsorb here and offered it to her but she said she was doing the tablets and didn't think she needed the Calsorb.

Also told her to take her temp the other day when we talked and she said she wasn't going to do anything to make her uncomfortable and throw her into labor. I explained to her you just use a little lubricant and they don't notice it much.

I'm trying, I really am. She's an elderly lady...but I'm sure she'd do it if her vet recommended it.
