I have always been a big car seat believer but in our morning paper there is an article about a couple that were in an accident in Champaign over the weekend and their dog was in the car also. The couple was hurt in the accident, their dog escaped the accident but ran away. They hope someone will find the dog and return it to them before the husband gets out of the hospital. They weren't from this area. I think it was a year old Lhapso Apso (?).
Even going a mile from home accidents can happen.
