These little dogs take a long time. Did you mean you take her outside to potty 1 -3 times a day or she is pottying inside 1-3 times a day? - that part confused me. If you're only taking her outside 3 times a day at 6 months old - for a little dog like a Yorkie, that's not enough, she needs to go out more often. If you meant she's having accidents in the house up to 3 times a day, then IMO she's doing pretty well for 6 months old.

Have you considered piddle pads for inside the house? If you really don't want to use them, she needs to go outside pretty much every hour until she's trained and you need to watch her like a hawk when she's in the house and quickly scoop her up and take her outside when you catch her going. Patients, that is normal for her age and this breed.
